Manhattan Zen is the brainchild of Kathleen Mulhern, a talented marketing
executive, certified health coach, a Pilates and Zumba instructor, and
a soup maker extraordinaire.
Kathleen is a long-time resident of Manhattan and has from her earliest
days in the city looked for ways to neutralize the hustle and bustle
of the city that never sleeps and maintain the all-important inner
calm that each of us needs to remain balanced, centered, happy and
productive.
Along the way, Kathleen discovered the power of exercise, healthy
eating habits, and positive thinking. She founded Manhattan Zen to
share what she has learned with others and enrich the lives of all
who seek peace and calm in their busy lives.
Take a look at our blogs which offer a wealth of information and tips
for health living. And check out our store that offers a variety of
items to remind you to be Zen on a daily basis.
After graduating from Notre Dame (B.A.) and University of Reading in the U.K. (M.A.) Kathleen moved into the big city in search of interesting people, adventure and purpose. She learned all about marketing and advertising at McCann-Erickson, where she worked closely with both the Vice Chairman and the Chief Media Officer on a variety of projects.
After seven years in the advertising industry, Kathleen established an independent consulting firm and over the last 15 years served as Chief of Staff to several CEOs of marketing, branding, and wholesale wine and jewelry companies.
